Do I have To Stay At The Meeting Hotel?
Hotel Requirement
To keep registration costs low, APACVS contracted a block of rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando. Any rooms in that block that go unused are still charged to the association, so we ask every attendee to help us fill it.
All registrants must stay at least three nights at the DoubleTree within the APACVS room block.
Each attendee must have their own room reservation, because shared rooms count toward only one registrant. For exceptions, see below.
Attendees who don't meet this requirement will be charged a $200 surcharge. CME certificates will not be issued until the hotel requirement is met or the surcharge has been paid.
Booking through the link on our Hotel & Travel page is the easiest way to make sure your stay is counted. If you do not book through our link and book with the DoubleTree directly, we will ask you to forward us proof of a reservation and then a post meeting receipt.
Exemptions
Spouses or partners attending together, who may share a room. Notify the APACVS national office if this is the case and we will make that adjustment.
Local exemption: Attendees who live within 60 minutes of the hotel are exempt. Proof of address will be required to qualify.
